Our expanding ecommerce division is looking to add quality people with knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS and SQL to help develop dynamic websites for our high profile clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ability to generate standards-compliant HTML and CSS
  • Familiarity of working on dynamic sites that integrate with ASP.net (or similar OOP languages) and JavaScript and jQuery
  • Experience building modular, reusable & customizable JavaScript driven UI components
  • Familiarity with SQL database driven sites
  • Knowledge of web usability best practices
  • Proven time management and excellent organization skills
  • Ability to communicate professionally, both written and spoken English
  • Ability to take direction and contribute constructively in open discussion

Qualifications

  • 2+ years web development experience
  • Minimum B.S. degree in Computer Science

Our growing and expanding ecommerce division is looking to add quality people to help design and maintain responsive ecommerce sites for our high profile clients by designing the look and feel of website content, marketing banners and other creative assets, and front-end development using CSS/HTML.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Ability to convert completed mock-ups into clean, well-structured CSS and HTML pages.
  • An understanding of the concepts and practices of responsive design for mobile optimization.
  • Strong sense of design, typography, and branding for the web.
  • Adherence to latest and best Web technologies and trends.
  • Work samples / link to an online portfolio.
  • Ability to continue to elevate pre-existing web design aesthetic while maintaining alignment with branding and organizational goals.
  • Operate effectively as a member of the development team.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • BS / BA university degree.
  • Must be local to NY/NJ area.

Additional Experience Preferred but not necessary:

  • Working knowledge of JavaScript, JavaScript Frameworks like JQuery.
  • Ability to build responsive websites from scratch using flexible grids and media queries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define, plan and execute test plans based on technical documentation
  • Identify and isolate product defects across a wide selection of ecommerce websites
  • Deliver complete, concise test reports at the end of the testing cycle
  • Document software defects using bug tracking system: Sifter & Basecamp
  • Provide visibility on quality to the rest of the organization
  • Collect and organize performance test metrics, highlighting key findings and recommendations
  • Control test configurations and environments on various Windows and Mac OS platforms
  • Develop work-around solutions to problems encountered during test development and execution
  • Knowledge of Microsoft SQL, JavaScript, HTML and CSS a plus.

Requirements:

  • Proven time management and excellent organization skills
  • Ability to communicate professionally, both written and spoken English
  • Familiarity with database driven sites
  • Ability to take direction and contribute constructively in open discussion
  • BS / BA university degree.
  • Must be local to NY/NJ area.

Additional Experience Preferred but not necessary:

  • Automation testing using Selenium or comparable tools
  • Have B2C ecommerce experience
  • Familiarity with HTML5, CSS3, Microsoft SQL and JavaScript
